Welcome to the webpage of Benara Farm. At Benara Farm our main interests are rare Wessex Saddleback Pigs, Dorper Sheep and our extended menagerie consists of Boer X Goats, Muscovy Ducks, Chooks and Dogs. On the produce line, we currently sell delicious Free-range Benara Farm Pork and in the future will add Free-range Benara Farm Dorper Lamb to the Benara Farm Produce Range.
The aim of this website is to show that you too can and SHOULD own a Wessex Saddleback Pig. Believe me if we can do it, so can you! We don’t claim to be experts on pig farming nor on the breed itself, but we can show you how and why Wessex Saddlebacks are ideal for novices and experts alike who are considering owning a pig.
We also breed Dorper Sheep and would recommend our sheep to anyone on a small acreage looking for a friendly, tame, live lawnmower.
